To celebrate the kids getting out of school . . . the "Additions" decided that they wanted to go to our cabin. And, what was one of the chosen activities for the occasion? SHOOTING CANS !!! Yes, they wanted to shoot old pop cans filled with water or expired evaporated milk cans with Good-Looking's 22 rifle.
Isn't this the cutest picture? Here is our little girly-girly getting in the action. And, she loved it!
Here are my boys. I love when we have time together like this . . . .
No. 1 is "sad" for the can that he shot. :) He loved when the milk would explode everywhere.
No. 1 did really well. He shot completely on his own. I think he is ready for hunter safety.
Here is No. 3. He did really well. Good-looking would help him hold the gun. But, he had to aim and pull the trigger all by himself.
And, he got one! He was so happy. He blew it off the ground. And, of course, he wanted a picture of "shooting his can."
As you can see, we all had a great time. No. 2, myself, and Good-looking all got turns, too. I just didn't get any pictures because the battery died in my camera. We are all excited to be starting out our summer!

Ah, sounds like a perfect family day. We love such days ourselves and wish we could be up at the cabin shooting cans too!
